You are here because you need a writer. Someone who understands that your expertise is your priority, who knows that you don’t have time to write all the things. And perhaps you aren’t quite sure which things to write.
In the discipline of theatre improvisation (and indeed all forms of improv), there is a technique called ‘yes, and’; an actor links a new line onto one that’s just been said, in a demonstration of true empathy. Improvisation demands mastery of listening and ample imagination to take the other actor’s line – and the audience – to the next level. My way of working is to silently slip into clients’ minds with compassionate curiosity, and channel their ideas into words that marry with their authenticity, to reach their stakeholders.
“With my kaleidescope approach I integrate design thinking into my coaching of unpublished non-fiction writers and professionals, to the personal branding strategy workshop facilitation I offer to SMBs – I make sure people feel safe to take centre stage in their own lives and professions. As a writer I strive to understand my customers and readers for text and ideas that resonate. When you integrate listening into the process of expression, everybody is enriched.”
